Tan, Etc. is your locally owned and operated tanning destination, proudly staffed by professionals who know and care about each client. We take the time to understand your individual needs and offer personalized recommendations based on firsthand experience—we personally test every product we carry to ensure you’re getting the very best. Whether you're new to tanning or trying a spray tan for the first time, we’re here to guide you through the process with comfort and confidence. Our Story

Our business was born out of the opportunity to educate people about their skin health and exposure to the sun and UV rays, while providing a positive experience with indoor tanning. We wanted to provide a convenient tanning salon that was knowledgeable and kept our customers informed and safely working on their perfect glow. Established in 2010, Tan, Etc. has been serving the Pinckneyville community and surrounding areas for over 10 years, and we’re excited to continue growing and improving everything we can offer for our customers.

We’re the premier tanning salon and boutique here for all of your skincare and beauty needs. We specialize in tanning, teeth whitening, and ear piercing services while offering a variety of clothing, accessories, and other products to promote your inner and outer beauty. We strive to provide more natural, effective products for our community while also supporting other local businesses by carrying locally-made products in our shop. We consider ourselves a one-stop shop where you can meet all your tanning, beauty, and health-based living needs under one roof. You’ll find something new that’s a perfect fit for you every time.

We pride ourselves on our staff being the friendliest and most knowledgeable around, and we’re always here to help with any questions or concerns you may have. We care about you and your health, and will always make sure you’re getting exactly the outcome you want in a safe and effective way. We want every customer that comes into our store to feel comfortable and satisfied with their products or service. We’re open six days a week with convenient, easily accessible hours so everyone has the chance to fit our services into their busy schedules.

Laura Loos the owner is knowledgeable about what products and items she has in her shop. She carries thing that are not found in your a typical boutique store. You'll definitely find something that is unique and not what everybody has. She also carries gifts and some men's & baby wear. She even has things for your favorite furbaby. Now down to tanning. She won't let you burn your skin, or look like a Oompa Loompa. She has a list of what ingredients are in the lotions and how they work on your skin.
